No Nightmares Here!

We're pleased to introduce a captivating new feature: The Nocturnal House! Players can now make a nighttime paradise for all manner of nocturnal animals.
2024-05-07
A typical zoo is full of large, eye catching animals. Everyone expects to see giraffes, elephants, gorillas, maybe a tiger or a bear. But many cool critters are shrouded in mystery - active only at night, you might never have an opportunity to see them. Until now, that is!

Players level 80 and up can now unlock the Nocturnal House!

Once you have received the corresponding quest, you'll be able to purchase the Nocturnal House in the "Buildings"/"Feature" section of the shop.

Much like the Terrarium and Aquarium Houses, it can be placed in your zoo and will give you access to what is essentially a zoo within a zoo. The Nocturnal House comes equipped with an admissions booth of its own, and you'll be able to purchase all the necessary buildings and decorations that make a zoo a zoo!

You'll be able to unlock five fascinating animals to live in your Nocturnal House through its quest chain (keep an eye out for the new bonus and VIP gifts for purchasing Diamonds which feature two more)!

Nocturnal enclosures are mixed species enclosures, which allow you to keep different species together, just as in the Aquarium House.

The entire building comes with an added twist though: You can regulate the lighting yourself, with the help of a handy slider bar:

When you purchase 100 Diamonds¹ or more, you'll be able to choose between a Giant Golden-Crowned Flying Fox and a Tokay Gecko as your free bonus gift!

Endemic to the Phillipines Giant Golden-Crowned Flying Fox is one of the largest megabats; despite its impressive size, fruit is its food of choice. Endangered by deforestation and poaching in the wild, it will be safe and sound in your zoo, where you can keep up to eight of these big bats in a single jungle enclosure.

The colorful Tokay Gecko* is a becoming a popular pet. However, it can be fairly aggressive and packs quite a big punch (well, technically, bite). You can keep these nocturnal lizards in a nocturnal enclosure, where they will tolerate the company of up to seven more individuals.

When you purchase 200 Diamonds² or more, you'll even get two Giant Golden-Crowned Flying Foxes or two Tokay Geckos!

⭐⭐⭐

Looking to purchase a larger amount of Diamonds? We've got you covered with not one, not two, but three VIP options!

When purchasing 1000 Diamonds³ or more, you can choose to get one Western Lowland Gorilla or one Common Vampire Bator one Dr. Byrd NPC instead of the other options!

The smallest gorilla subspecies, the Western Lowland Gorilla is still nevertheless incredibly big and powerful; it is the subspecies most commonly kept in zoos. You can keep up to eight of these massive apes a single jungle enclosure.

One of the few animals that can subsist on a diet of only blood, the Common Vampire Bat is native to Central and Southern America. You can keep up to ten of these bloodsuckers together in a nocturnal enclosure within the Nocturnal House.

While she might come off as a little brash Dr. Dolores Byrd always has the animals' best interest at heart. As an NPC, she will stroll around your zoo keeping an eye on your critters and giving you a gift of experience points, Coins, or random puzzle pieces from time to time. Simply click on the pin that appears over her head to collect it!

NOTE: The Tokay Gecko and Common Vampire Bat are nocturnal animals; if you select these options, you will only see them in your inventory while you are in the Nocturnal House (available at level 80 and up!).

¹To receive a bonus gift, 100 Diamonds or more must be purchased in a single transaction. That means several smaller payments (ie. 2x 50 Diamonds) will not count.

Getting more than one Western Lowland Gorilla/Common Vampire Bat/Dr. Byrd NPC with a single payment is not possible.
